Please... My Child

Look into this mirror, my child

What is there looking back is far beyond mild-

Can you see the little green light

You never caught before?

Or do you see the illusion

Of an ocean and its shore?

These are hallucinations.

Open up this book, my child

What you read here is far beyond mild-

Do you notice all your past?

And happening you never caught?

Do you notice the dreams you wanted,

But never sought?

This is your realization.

Look into this painting, my child-

What you find here is far beyond mild-

Do you notice the strong mountains?

Can you watch them crumble into the sea?

And do you remember the mirror?

And notice the same happening to thee?

This is deterioration.

Gaze out of this window, my child

What you notice here is far beyond mild-

Not only do you see yourself in shame

You see the hills lower to flat land

And the oceans dry up;

Turning to nothing but sand.

This is your last chance.

Look at my tears, my child

The feeling you see here is far beyond mild-

Do you realize how you've hurt me

And yourself just the same?

Listen to these words my child-

Drugs will not bring you fortune and fame.

This is me asking you to save your life...

PLEASE.
